A domain name is a website address where you can be found online. Visitors will use it to access your website on the internet and contact you via an associated email address - so it is important that you choose a unique domain that is memorable with your audience.
We recommend that your domain name be easy to remember, short and simple so that customers and clients can find you on the internet. You should be able to share it with people without having to spell the domain name, so test it over the phone.
To be able to use a domain name you will first need to register it. Many domain names are unrestricted provided the domain is available, for example .com .net .biz domains. However, some domains have registration criteria, such as country specific domains, such as .sg. and .uk domains. If additional information is required this will be requested upon registering the domain. Search below to determine whether your chosen domain name is available:
You should consider registering multiple variations of your primary domain in order to help protect your brand, for example, registering misspellings and plural/singular forms and product names that you may offer in your business to catch all relevant searches. These considerations should also extend to country code domains in respect of the different countries in which your products or services may be offered.
We offer over 1000 domain name extensions. This includes country-code TLDs (ccTLDs), generic TLDs, and new domain extensions. With so many to choose from it is easy to find your perfect domain name. You can choose by country, region, industry, hobby, community, and more. If you know what you want you can jump in and search for the domain name you want.
Don't miss out on your preferred domain name – search below to see if it is available.
The registration fee for a domain name is usually for a period of one year or multiples of one year and must be paid when you submit your application to register the domain name.
In order to keep your domain active you must renew your domain fees before or on expiry. If you fail to do so, it may result in someone registering your domain when the domain expires. For this reason, we recommend that our automated renewal option be switched on to minimise the risk of this happening (which can be done once logged into our portal).
